Louise Wilkinson is professor of medieval history at Canterbury Christ Church University. She was a co-investigator of the AHRC-funded Magna Carta project (http://magnacartaresearch.org/) and the AHRC-funded Henry III Fine Rolls project (http://www.finerollshenry3.org.uk/home.html). She was also heavily involved in Canterbury’s celebrations to mark the 800th anniversary of Magna Carta in 2015. Her research focuses on the lives of royal and aristocratic women in the late twelfth and thirteenth centuries. Her publications include Eleanor de Montfort: A Rebel Countess in Medieval England (London, 2012), a biography of King John’s youngest daughter. She is Joint General Editor of the Pipe Roll Society.
